Life seems impossible between the rich, successful businessman Saeed and his wife, Souad, despite the birth of their only daughter, Dunia. He decides to separate, and Saeed marries Hiyam, so that they can live happily in his palace. Souad's financial conditions deteriorate to the point that she is expelled from her apartment, and Souad and Donia go to live in Saeed's palace to protect his daughter.
